Are Trolls Real?

Well, week one of Miss Kris coming into the classroom has come and gone, what fun we had! Kris Winter will be coming into our 3rd Grade classroom every Friday in the month of September to tell us a story about respect, responsibility, kindness etc... This first week was a wonderful, bit scary :) story about Little Linda and Trolls! The props and storytelling had everyone, including myself, amazed and questioning whether the story was in-fact true! Most definitely looking forward to next Friday.

New adventures are awaiting...

I'm so excited to share that this school year 3rd grade will be participating in Arts Integration Menomonie. I just got done a couple weeks ago with Summer Academy, where I learned all about this new adventure and FINALLY got to meet the first of two teaching artists that will be in the classroom this year! Kris Winters, storytelling genius will be with our 3rd grade classroom first and we are already collaborating on what engaging ways we can integrate her skills. I'm eager to start the year and to share our experiences with all of you here!
